Refund policy

At Tongass Trading Co., we want you to love what you buy. If an item doesn’t work out, we’re happy to help with a return or an exchange when possible.

Due to the fast pace and seasonality of our business, all exchanges must be pre-approved to ensure the correct size or item is available. Our inventory moves quickly, so please contact us before sending anything back.

Exchange Guidelines:

  • Pre-approval is required for all exchanges.
    To request an exchange, please contact us by:
  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with tags attached.
  • Exchanges are accepted within 30 days of the delivery date, pending item availability.
  • Customers are responsible for the return shipping costs unless the item was damaged or sent in error.
  • Exchanged items will be shipped to the customer free of charge.

How to Return an Item for Exchange:

  1. Request pre-approval by contacting us via phone or email.
  2. Once approved, package the item securely. Include either the bottom portion of your packing slip or a note with your order number, contact information, and exchange details.
  3. Ship to:

It is recommended to reuse the original packaging, if possible, or a USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate box.

  1. Please allow a minimum of 14 business days for processing once your return is received. You will receive a confirmation email once your exchange has shipped.

Refunds:

  • Returns received within 30 days of the date of delivery are eligible for a refund to the original form of payment.
    Please note: For your security, our system does not store payment information. A member of our team will call the phone number provided on your order to securely process your refund once your return is approved.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Returns received after 30 days of the delivery date are not eligible for refunds or exchanges.
  • All returns are final. Items sent to Tongass Trading Co. outside of the terms of this Return Policy are not subject to a refund and will not be returned to the sender.
